A Message from the ACT Board
We are sad to report that the board of directors for Alpena Civic Theatre has made the difficult decision to remain closed until further notice. Earlier this year, we had hoped and planned to be able to return in January with our production of Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses. The play was cast, the set was constructed, rehearsals had been scheduled to begin in November. But after consulting with public health officials and community theatre resources, we have decided that it is in the best interests of ACT and the greater community for us to remain closed at this time.
We will re-evaluate this decision after the beginning of the new year in hopes that the situation has improved. The health and safety of everyone in our community is our greatest concern.
In the weeks ahead, we will be discussing other ways that we can remotely entertain our patrons and friends in these difficult times. As always, we welcome your suggestions.
Anyone who has already purchased tickets or vouchers for the season will be reimbursed soon.
We thank you all for your kind words of encouragement, and we assure you that we will return.

All evening performances begin at 7:30 PM.
Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 PM.
